We also have chapter representatives in various states. It has planted chapters in Kansas, Minnesota, Baltimore, Seattle, Boston, Delaware, Connecticut, North Carolina, Dallas, Lancaster Pennsylvania , and Houston,Texas. We are currently in the process of planting chapters in Chicago, California, Indiana and Michigan.
Mission:
To empower women spiritually, physically, and economically; to rebuild the women's respect and rights as well as raise her self-esteem and harness her power. We believe that when you empower a woman you empower the whole family and subsequently the whole community.
Accomplishments:
• Women have been empowered in Education, Health, Business, Careers, Family matters and Self-esteem.
• The ministry has been on the forefront to bring awareness of the domestic abuse problem that many Kenyans have suffered silently. This has been achieved through professional counseling and speakers whom selves have suffered abuse sharing about their experiences at our Queen's Night's events throughout the country.
• It has created a stage for connection in different areas of life. Women have met mentors in these events, business partners and opportunities have been offered to those who are gifted and who may never have been given a chance to promote themselves.
• Women have become sensitive to their health. Exercise programs have been initiated.
• Self-esteem has been elevated. Women have been empowered and appreciated in their own skin.
• Women have attained self-worth and have come to believe in their gifts and abilities regardless of their status quo.
• By end of 2014, queen's ministry will establish a queen's scholarship to help the young and old complete their education both here and in Kenya.
• Every Queen's Night will be followed by a Health Fair event to screen women for cancer, diabetes and heart issues as a way of early prevention and awareness. Cancer has been one of the killers among our people, often because it is discovered at a late stage due to a lack of awareness of the importance of regular health checkups.
• Empower women financially to venture into investing in Kenya and USA as well. Our long term goal is to establish women table banking among the various chapters in the USA and establish a SACCO.
• Liaise with our first Lady Honorable Margaret Uhuru Kenyatta and organize an awareness race here in the USA to support her mission through raising funds as women in the Diaspora even as we continue to empower our women in fitness. We believe in our first lady's vision.
• To reach the unreachable, the women who have been forgotten even in the villages, and bring the queen out of them.
